• Articulate their dreams and creatively engage in activities toward achieving them.

• Develop and implement a school-wide curriculum that enables all students to achieve our mission and objectives.
• Recruit, retain and support qualified teachers and staff who are committed to our mission and objectives.

Measurements of Objectives

• All staff, students and parents understand the objectives, rubrics and processes for assessing student growth towards meeting the objectives.
• All divisions have developed a process for implementing the school-wide rubrics.
• A process for using the rubrics to collect evidence and assess student growth towards meeting the objectives has been piloted.
• Baseline data on current student performance relative to the objectives have been collected, analyzed, and reported to stakeholders in aggregate form.

Curriculum Strategy

• NIS staff have developed a multi-year plan to utilize appropriate sources of data to drive curricular decision making at all levels of the school, from student-specific instructional decisions through school-wide program evaluation.
• Teachers and administrators at NIS research and implement best practices to ensure all students achieve our objectives.
• NIS teachers implement strategies in the classroom that support the language needs of all students.
• NIS has adopted a unified approach to student assessment which incorporates both formative and summative approaches and ensures appropriate recording and reporting of student progress. 
• NIS has ongoing collaborative relationships with local and global communities to promote responsible student action.
• NIS has completed an analysis of opportunities for curricular and extra-curricular activities to support and expand our program(s) using local resources

Staff Strategy

• NIS annually reviews its compensation packages to ensure that they are competitive and contemporary.
• The NIS community supports teachers and staff in working at NIS and living in Nagoya.
• The NIS recruiting and hiring process is aligned with and elicits prospective hires committed to our mission and objectives.
• NIS has an ongoing, personalized teacher and staff evaluation that is both formative and summative and connected to the school objectives.
• NIS professional development is a clear and transparent process that is mission driven and linked to staff evaluation.
   

Finance & Development Strategy

• To further financial stability, NIS uses standardized processes to analyze finances & demographics year to year, and uses the data to inform decision-making.
• NIS has evaluated and established a system to pursue non-tuition/fee sources to increase revenue stream.
• NIS has developed a marketing plan to target previously identified constituent groups and assess new constituent groups.
• NIS has completed a feasibility study to assess the financial benefit of expanding technology programs, including E-Learning.
• NIS has created a system to annually review internal strengths and needs, to identify opportunities within the greater community to improve our programs, and to maintain our competitive edge.

Trust & Understanding Strategy

• The NIS community understands the school mission and the learner profile, and models their attributes to promote trust and understanding.
• The NIS community provides opportunity for dialogue and the exchange of ideas.

• NIS shares information in a timely and orderly manner that is understood by the whole community.

運営方針

私達は、

• 全ての生徒に私達の使命と目標の達成を可能にするような、全校に亘るカリキュラムを実施する。
• 私達の使命と目標の実現に真摯に取り組み、かつ適性のある教師とスタッフを採用し、サポートし、雇用の保持に努める。
• 財政の長期的な安定を確保するための計画を策定する。
• 学校コミュニティーの全員の間に信頼関係と相互理解を構築し、維持する。

• 全ての職員、生徒、保護者が、目標、ルーブリック、そして目標に対する生徒の到達度を測るためのプロセスを理解する。
• 全ての課程で、全校に亘るルーブリックを実践する手段を構築する。
• 判断材料をまとめ、目標に対する生徒の到達度を測るためにルーブリックを使うプロセスを、導入、開始する。
• 生徒の目標に対する現在の到達度に関する基本データを、集め、分析、集計して関係者に報告する。

• 生徒の個々の教務上の決定から、全校に亘るプログラムの評価に至るまで、全レベルにおけるカリキュラムに関する決定について必要とされる適切なデータソースの利用のために、NISスタッフは、複数年計画を構築する。
• NISの教師と経営陣は、全ての生徒が確実に目標に到達するために最良の手段と方法を実践する。
• NISの教師は、必要とする全ての生徒のために教室における言語サポートを導入する。
• NISは統一的に次の生徒評価法を採用する - 形成的評価法と累積的評価法の両面を併せ持ち、同時に生徒の成長についての適切な記録法と報告の手段を持っている。
• 生徒の責任ある行動を助長するために、NISは地域社会とも国際社会とも常に協力的関係を築く。
• NISは、そのプログラムを支え発展させるために、地域の社会的資源を活用しての学習活動、および課外活動の機会について分析する。

• NISは、スタッフの報酬パッケージが、他校に劣らず、かつ時代に即したものであるよう、毎年見直しを行う。
• NISコミュニティは、教師とスタッフがNISで働き、名古屋で暮らすにあたっての不便がないようサポートをする。
• NISのスタッフの人選と採用のプロセスは、「使命」と「目標」に即して行い、「使命」と「目標」に真摯に取り組む人材の雇用を図る。
• NISは、形成的かつ総括的で、学校の「目標」に結びついた、個別の人事考課を継続的に行う。
• NISの職能研鑽のプロセスは、明確で透明性があり、「使命」に則しており、かつ人事考課に結びついたものとする。

運営方針：財政及び運営展開

• 更なる財政の安定化のために、NISは財政と生徒数統計について、統一された分析プロセスを用いて毎年分析を行い、そのデータをもとに方針決定を行う。
• 収益源を増やすため、NISは授業料及び納付金以外の財源を模索するシステムを分析、確立する。
• NISは構築したマーケティング・プランによって、既に対象と特定した生徒層の獲得を行い、かつ新たに対象とする生徒層の評価を行う。
• NISは、ｅラーニングを含むITプログラムの拡充の採算性を検討するために、予備調査を行う。
• NISは、毎年自己の長所と不足している所を見直し、より広いコミュニティーにおいてプログラムをさらに改善できる機会を特定し、自己の競争力を維持するシステムを構築する。

• NISコミュニティは、学校の「使命」と「ラーナー・プロファイル（模範とする学習者像）」を理解し、これらを規範として行動することにより信頼関係と相互理解を助長促進する。
• NISコミュニティは、対話や意見交換の機会を設ける。
• NISコミュニティは、協力して保護者、生徒、教師、経営陣の役割を明確にする。
• コミュニティ全体に分かりやすく、タイムリーかつ正しい手順で情報を共有する。
• NISコミュニティは、生徒の変動に対して包括的な適応プログラムを活用し、新入生とその家族に対しては暖かく迎え入れスムーズに溶け込み、適応出来るようにし、同時に長く在籍する生徒とその家族に対してはニーズに対処するようにする。
