Application Process

 

 

1. Review NIS Admissions Policies

Applicants should be familiar with the policies on admissions, placement, ESOL support and other special needs.

 

2. Contact the Development Office

Applicants should contact NIS to request an application packet to initiate the admissions process.

* If using our online request form, or sending an email, please ensure you Include the full name, nationality(s), date of birth and the desired date of enrollment for all prospective students; also include both a postal and email contact address.

 

3. Submit Admission Forms & Materials

Once all application materials have been received, the application will be screened by the Admissions Committee.

* All requested documents are required for consideration, including transcripts, reports, and recommendations from previous schools.

  

4. Pay Application Fee

* Applicants can request this fee to be included in initial tuition and fee billing

 

5. Schedule Admissions Interview

If the applicant is deemed appropriate, a family interview will be arranged.

* The student may also be administered tests and asked to complete a writing sample for admissions placement.

 

 

Application Materials


An admissions application form and other items are available online for your convenience in a PDF format (>Downloadable Documents), but please remember that the application form is just one of the documents that are required for admission. Please note that complete academic transcripts and records (in English) must be submitted with the application form and other materials.

To apply for admissions into NIS, all of the required items (>Required Documents) are needed at least three weeks prior to any admissions interview. Once all relevant documents have been submitted, the Admissions Committee will review the application. After the review, you will contacted to schedule an interview (and testing for the child if needed) at your earliest convenience. The interview is required, and is the last step in the admissions process.
