Tips to Living and Working in Japan

Thank you for considering NIS and Nagoya! For most foreign residents in Japan, the time spent living here becomes a life-changing experience. Indeed, it would be hard not being positively affected by the wealth of culture and experiences that await even the most timid of tourists. However, it always helps to have some advice from seasoned travelers to begin any stay in a foreign land.  Thus, NIS staff have developed a guide for teachers and staff that will help prepare those who are considering NIS and all that Nagoya has to offer.  A list of links to many of the topics covered in the document is also available below, for those who wish to start surfing the web for information.
