NIS students represent diverse cultural and national backgrounds, and
share a commitment and passion to learning. Our strong academic program
enables them to gain entrance into competitive universities worldwide
or successfully transition to other elementary or secondary schools
along their educational paths.
Our teachers are dedicated professionals, a majority holding masters
degrees in their areas of specialization. Their teaching is inspiring,
student-centered and individualized, and their involvement in coaching
and co-curricular activities provides a nurturing environment for
students to excel in the arts, athletics, student government and
service learning.
Facilities at NIS are first-rate and provide a supporting backdrop for
an enriching environment. The entire campus has been modernized for all
divisions, enabling students numerous opportunities for growth in the
classroom, on the athletic field and in the gym, as well as on the
performing stage.
Just as important, NIS is fortunate to have parents who are actively
involved in the life of their children and the school community. A
dedicated PTA organizes annual social events, fundraisers, and
volunteer days to support the school.
